Carbonara Sauce

Carbonara is an Italian pasta dish made with a tangle of spaghetti, eggs, hard cheese, cured pork, and black pepper. The dish arrived at its modern form, with its current name in early 20th century America. The cheese is usually a combination of Pecorino Romano and Parmigiano-Reggiano. The primary goal is creaminess.
